How do I return an item?

Merchandise purchased at the Council Shop in its original packaging, with the tags attached, may be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days when accompanied by the receipt or online store invoice. Refunds on cash and check payments will be sent to the purchaser in the form of a council check. Refunds on credit card and non-expired cookie dollar purchases will be made in the same tender. — Clearance and retired items may not be returned or exchanged. — Defective merchandise purchased from the Council Shop may be exchanged within 60 days of purchase when accompanied with a receipt. Please include a copy of the receipt or invoice with:
  1. Description of the problem
  2. Corrective action you are requesting
  3. Daytime phone, fax number or email
  4. Name
  5. Address
