The Girl Scouts Global Action award, developed in partnership with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), is an exciting and enriching way for Girl Scout Daisies to Ambassadors to participate in realizing the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which aim to reduce extreme poverty and impact major world concerns.
The alliance between WAGGGS and the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals embraces WAGGGS mission of empowering girls and young women to develop to their fullest potential as engaged and responsible global citizens. Around the world there are 145 WAGGGS member organizations, of which GSUSA is one, serving girls and young women in wide-ranging "Scouting" endeavors.
The Global Action award is an Official Award and therefore it may be worn on the front of the Official Uniform sash or vest and placed where other earned badges are worn. 2" round sew-on photo patch.

This certificate was specially designed for bridging from one age level to another. It can be given to Daisy Girl Scouts bridging to Brownie Girl Scouts. The certificate features watermark age level shorthand and bottom border with age level color. Paper size 8" X 10" Bridge to Brownie Girl Scouts is worn on the Brownie sash or vest directly under the Membership Stars.
The My Promise, My Faith Pin is earned by girls who want to find out what their faith and Girl Scouting have in common, using the Girl Scout Law as a guide. There is a different pin for each year a Girl Scout earns the recognition. Girls can earn this pin once a year at each grade level. The color of the pin corresponds to Girl Scout Brownie grade level color. Imported.
